In-folio, edition illustrated by Ansaldi with a title page enhanced in color and gold, 7 title pages and 8 hors-texte compositions in color, one of which is a double-page spread, numerous culs-de-lampe and a color frame on each page in the style of medieval illumination. Limited edition of 2030 numbered copies signed by the artist and publisher, this one no. 69, one of 150 including two original color illustrations, a framed hors-texte plate and a French blue suite of the hors-texte illustrations. Publisher’s “haute édition” binding in full blue morocco, the first cover decorated with a troubadour in polychrome enamel in a cold-stamped cartouche, navy leather spandrels embellished with metallic fleurs-de-lis, spine decorated with broad ribbing and embellished with a metallic fleur-de-lis and bust at head and tail, signed Sefer. In a publisher’s slipcase, the spine similarly decorated, the suite in a separate folder. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
