Office de la semaine sainte en latin et en françois selon le messel et le bréviaire de Rome et de Paris. Paris, Léonard et Delaulne, [1697]. In-12 garnet morocco, ribbed spine decorated with crowned fleur-de-lys or crowned PP, triple gilt fillet framing the covers with crowned fleur-de-lys or crowned PP in the spandrels, gilt arms in the center, gilt edges (period binding). Headcap damaged, crack at foot of spine of first board, corners very dulled, otherwise a fine copy in contemporary morocco bearing the arms of the Regent PHILIPPE D’ORLÉANS (1674-1723). A modern handwritten note (partly torn) states that this volume was donated by the Bourbon-Sicilian royal family to a religious institution.
